I'm building a E/M for PvE partner farming.

My plan is to use Firestorm, Meteor Shower, and Rodgorts with Arcane Echo and spam out those spells around my tanking partner.

Would the elite Echo to spam out yet another spell, or Elemental Attunment stacked on top Fire Attunement to manage my energy pool be more suitable?

well if its for farming go with echo and do a triple meteor shower... Should kill everything its costly on the energy but you can just wait for yourself to regen

id prefer ele attune so you can spam damage spells (bring searing heat as well) as often as possible. a dual meteor shower + firestorm/searing heat will still kill everything in a timely fashion...and youd end up with almost max energy at the end (-exhaustion of course)

Yeah, i wouldn't really go for 3x meteors. It may sound kewl, but it takes 15 frigging seconds to cast. By the time your third one finishes, the monsters will be dead already.

Elemental Attunment and Echo...
Both are useful, but in the difference comes down to more energy or power.
Using Echo, you will only have Fire Attunment (30%), and thus your energy will be drained more quicker.
Elemental Attument (50%) will stack with Fire Attunment (30%) and give you an unlimited supply of energy while the both last.

For my build is: e/me: Fireball, Firestorm, Searing Heat, Meteor Shower, Rodgort's Invocation, Arcane Echo, Elemental Attunment, Fire Attunment.

Does the job and while most of those Echo nukers are waiting for energy. Im still casting. The whole point of an elementist is to keep casting.
You better off using Elemental Attunment as you elite and using Arcane Echo, which isnt an elite but at the cost of 15, does the same job and can copy elite.

I was toying around with my ele/mo last night and settled on

Fire Attunement
glyph of lesser energy
glyph of renewal
Meteor Shower
Firestorm
Flare
Purge Conditions / Conjure flame
Vital Belssing

Cant remember what my attributes were but i only used 3 Energy Storage, Fire and Protection Prayers which was at 10 and superior Fire and Energy Storage runes.

I had no problems and swapped conjure flame for purge conditions partway through just to experiment.

Echo nuking is the most overrated thing in the game now. Run dual attunements and cast more spells and more often than any echo nuker could even imagine. With the 20 and 20/20 collector items you get a decent chance of fast recharging. Nothing quite like replying to an echo nukers pinging of their 5 of 80 energy with a 50 or 80 energy.

I'm basically planning to run Pik Ur Bum's build with just Arcane Echo and then Elemental Attunement.
